AI × Your own brokerage account

AI that trades your account,
without ever holding your money or your keys.

You write your strategy in plain English. trelic runs it with Claude AI against your own Robinhood or Public account - researching the market and proposing stock and options trades, placed only when you approve. It runs on your computer, not our servers. Your broker login and API key are encrypted locally and are never sent to us.

Paper mode connects your brokerage for market data only - no orders are sent, and no trelic subscription is involved. You’ll also need an Anthropic API key for the AI, billed to you by Anthropic.

Your Money Stays Yours

trelic never holds, touches, or has custody of your funds - they stay at your brokerage. Your Robinhood login and Anthropic key are encrypted by your operating system, on your machine, and never transmitted to us. Uninstall it and everything is exactly where it was. You Write the Strategy

Not a black box. You describe your strategy in plain English - entry conditions, exits, sizing, what to avoid - and the agent executes that. Change a rule by editing a sentence, not by writing code or renting someone else's system. Every proposal comes with the reasoning behind it.

Stocks and Options

Full options support - chains, strikes, expiries, Greeks-aware research and limit orders - not just equities. The agent reads price action, option chains, earnings, and your open positions before proposing anything.

You Stay in Control

Every order passes a review-then-confirm gate you click. Turn on autonomous mode only when you're ready - and your guardrails still apply when you do.

Real Guardrails

Per-trade caps, daily trade limits, total exposure caps, market-hours rules, a daily-loss circuit breaker, standing stop/target exits, an automatic stop-loss attached to every position the agent opens, an entry spread gate that refuses options whose bid/ask spread would eat the risk budget, and a re-entry cooldown after a stop-out.

Prove It First

Paper mode simulates every trade against live prices with fake money, through the exact same pipeline - agent, guardrails, approvals, P&L. Fills are honest: paper buys price at the ask and sells at the bid, like a real order would, not at a midpoint that flatters the results. Backtesting runs equity and options strategies against real historical data, and Agent Replay goes further: it runs your actual strategy text through Claude over past sessions - asking each decision several times so you can see how often the answer changes - with the cost estimated up front and hard-capped, on your own API key. No other retail tool measures whether its own AI is consistent.

Signed by a verified company - check it yourself

Every installer is code-signed with an Organization Validated (OV) certificate issued by SSL.com to TRELIC TECHNOLOGIES LLC - a real, registered Florida company that had to prove its legal identity to get it. Downloading a trading app from an anonymous repo gives you no way to know who wrote the code you're about to run. Here you can:

Right-click the installer → PropertiesDigital Signatures. You should see TRELIC TECHNOLOGIES LLC, issued by SSL.com. If it says anything else, it did not come from us - don't run it.

Signatures are timestamped, so they stay valid after the certificate renews. Updates are signed the same way and delivered automatically - you're never asked to fetch a build from somewhere else.

“Why not just run a free bot script?”

You can - plenty exist on GitHub, and some are good. The difference shows up on the day a trade goes against you.

A script has no brakes

No daily-loss circuit breaker, no exposure cap, no automatic stop-loss. It keeps placing orders until you happen to look. trelic stops itself.

A script can't be supervised

No approval gate, no kill switch, no way to watch or intervene from your phone while you're away from the desk.

A script isn't maintained

Broker APIs change. A repo last updated eight months ago fails quietly - often in the middle of a position. trelic ships signed updates automatically.

New - Mobile Companion

Your bot, in your pocket.

The trelic companion app pairs with your desktop over an end-to-end encrypted channel - the relay can't read a single trade. Run the whole operation from anywhere:

  • Approve trades on the go - review, adjust contracts & limit price, confirm or reject from your phone.
  • Push notifications - get buzzed the moment an approval is waiting, an order fills, or something needs attention. Even with the app closed.
  • Live account & positions - portfolio value, P&L, and every position with Close and stop-loss/take-profit controls.
  • Full task control - create, start, and stop trading tasks remotely.
  • Kill switch - one tap halts every task and disconnects the broker. From anywhere.

Trade details never touch our servers - notifications are content-free knocks; the specifics stay encrypted between your own devices. Don't take our word for it: the encryption is published in full - both halves - so you can verify that yourself.

Get the companion app

Native app listings coming soon - but you can use the companion right now: on your phone, open trelictech.com/app and pair it with the code from your desktop app’s Settings → Remote Control. (Add it to your home screen for an app-like experience.)

Frequently asked questions

Is my money safe? Do you ever hold my funds?

No - trelic never holds, touches, or has custody of your money. Your funds stay entirely at your brokerage (Robinhood or Public). trelic is software that runs on your computer and talks to your brokerage account with credentials that never leave your machine. Uninstall it and everything is exactly where it always was - at your broker.

How do I know the download is really from you?

Check the signature - you don't have to trust us on it. Every installer is code-signed with an Organization Validated (OV) certificate that SSL.com issued to TRELIC TECHNOLOGIES LLC after verifying we're a real registered company. Right-click the installer, choose Properties → Digital Signatures, and you'll see that name and SSL.com as the issuer. Anything else means the file wasn't published by us. Automatic updates are signed the same way, so you never have to go hunting for a build.

Windows says "Windows protected your PC" - is something wrong?

No. That's Microsoft Defender SmartScreen, and it's a reputation check, not a signature check. It appears on newly released software until enough people have downloaded that specific version. A brand-new installer has no download history yet, however it's signed - so a fresh release trips it even though the signature is perfectly valid.

Before you click past it, read the Publisher line in that dialog. It should say TRELIC TECHNOLOGIES LLC (listed as US, Florida, Valrico). Windows pulled that name out of our code-signing certificate and verified it before drawing the window - an unsigned or tampered file shows Unknown instead. If it names anyone else, the file didn't come from us: delete it and download again from trelictech.com.

Once the publisher checks out, click More info and then Run anyway. The warning stops appearing as installs accumulate.

What does it actually cost to run?

Paper mode costs nothing and never expires - no subscription and no card. You still pay your own Anthropic API usage (the AI's "thinking" - billed by Anthropic directly to you, typically a few dollars a month depending on how often your tasks run), because the agent does the same real work either way.

To trade with real money there are three parts: the trelic subscription ($49.99/month, or $419.99/year which works out at $35/month, with a 7-day free trial), your Anthropic API usage, and your normal brokerage commissions/fees. There are no per-trade fees from trelic and no percentage of profits.

Which brokers are supported?

Robinhood (via its agentic trading API) and Public.com - you can connect both at once and switch between them in the app. Support for additional brokers is planned. New to Robinhood's agentic accounts? See our guide on connecting an AI agent to Robinhood.

Can it trade without my approval?

Only if you explicitly turn on Autonomous Mode - and even then every trade still passes the guardrails you set (per-trade cap, daily limits, exposure cap, loss circuit breaker), and every position the agent opens gets an automatic stop-loss. By default, every order stops at a review-then-confirm gate that you click. There's also a kill switch, on desktop and phone, that halts everything instantly.

Do you see my brokerage login or API keys?

Never. Your Robinhood login, Public API key, and Anthropic key are encrypted with your operating system's secure storage, on your machine. They are not transmitted to trelic's servers. The mobile companion talks to your desktop over an end-to-end encrypted channel - our relay only ever sees ciphertext.

Can I try it without risking money?

Yes, and it's the free tier rather than a trial. Paper Mode is free forever - no account, no card, no countdown. It simulates every trade against live market prices with fake money, through the exact same pipeline (agent, guardrails, approvals, P&L), so what you're evaluating is the real product rather than a demo of it.

You do need to connect your brokerage, even in paper mode. trelic has no market-data feed of its own - quotes come from your own Robinhood or Public account. That is precisely why paper fills price against the same live market a real order would hit, instead of the 15-minute-delayed data most free feeds provide. In paper mode that connection is read-only in effect: the app will not place an order without a subscription, so nothing can reach your account. You'll also need an Anthropic API key for the AI itself, billed to you directly by Anthropic.

When you're ready for real orders, the subscription adds a 7-day free trial on top, and there's a 14-day refund policy.

Will this make me money?

We don't know, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. trelic is a tool that researches, proposes, and - with your permission - places trades, with guardrails to limit what a bad run can cost you. It is not a signal service, it makes no performance claims, and trading options carries a substantial risk of loss. Use paper mode first, start small, and never risk money you can't afford to lose.
